Chat Room Poster
We were given a brief about a theatre performance called Chat Room based on a movie produced in 2010. The characters of that play were all manipulated by one of the members of the chat.

Due to Covid restrictions, the play couldn’t be performed on stage. The theatre students at Edinburgh College decided to perform the play for an online audience.

There was a little competition among the students and my piece wasn’t the winner but I loved the result. I wanted to create a scene where all the characters seem to be unsure about the other members of the chat.

Here are some projects I developed during my HND in Visual Communication. I think it’s good to show you how I started and what I have learned throughout the years. I can see some things I wouldn’t do now, but I also appreciate my effort and the new things I tried in those exercises.

Penguin Random House Poster
We were presented with a brief that focused on encouraging children and teenagers to read more books. The company behind the brief recognized the importance of diversity in literature as a key factor influencing kids' interest in reading.

The idea behind the collection of posters my classmates and I created was to set classical characters we all know against new characters from recent books.
I chose to represent Alice in Wonderland against the protagonist of Blackberry Blue. I wanted to make a funny illustration where Alice feels she’s going to lose her protagonism in the history of classic books.

Here, you can see the poster and some previous ideas I had before creating final design.

BBC History
This brief was for the BBC History Magazine. We had to illustrate an article about Lord Byron and the burning of his memoirs.

I based my portrait on the paintings I found of Lord Byron.
